The BedGuard anti-allergy mattress is made from the highest quality Damask woven fabric which undergoes a two-step treatment process. All mattresses are specially treated using our patented Dual Process, which includes the application of the HealthGuard™ to protect against dust mites and bacteria, followed by the BedGuard™ for added liquid, solid, and odour resistance.

This process ensures your dust mite proof bedding is impenetrable against allergens, dust mites, and bacteria, and will repel bed bugs that like to eat away at the fibres.

BedGuard mattresses are completely waterproof and won’t absorb liquid, solids, or any other mess into the mattress fibres. Whether it’s dust mites, dog hair, or spills, you can easily wipe it away without leaving a stain. This high level of resistance greatly reduces the risk of bacteria and allergy triggers that usually penetrate the mattress, so your children can enjoy the benefits of a healthy and more hygienic sleeping environment for longer.

What's different about BedGuard mattresses?

BedGuard mattresses are unique. They are; waterproof, odour resistant, stain repellant, dust mite resistant, antibacterial, hypo-allergenic, made in Australia, and NDIS approved. BedGuard CEO and founder created a mattress that is the solution to bed wetting and incontinence for all.

Is a BedGuard mattress safe?

BedGuard is an inert polymer that once cured (heated) becomes an isostatic bond which is completely stable with no off gassing. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are available upon request.

How do I clean a BedGuard mattress?

After spills (liquid) blot the mattress surface with paper towel as soon as practical. Liquid will transferred into the paper towel after blotting. After spills (solid) blot the mattress surface then wipe with paper towels or baby wipes.

After I blot the mattress what happens next?

The paper towel containing spill, odour and stain can be easily disposed. Your mattress surface will feel cold for a short while until reaching the surrounding ambient temperature.

How do I decide which of the range suits me?

To select from our range please consider the following weight, height and single or dual sleep. Weight selection determines your comfort support. Height determines the size eg single vs long single. Size for 1 person or 2 person sleep eg king single vs double.

How do I decide which of the range suits me? (Detailed)

Guardian Comfort rated to 90kg. Guardian Luxury rated to 100kg 30mm more foam comfort layer than Comfort range. Guardian Opulence rated to 120KG has the same comfort layer as Luxury range with 30mm pillowtop. Guardian 150KG bariatric mattress has 35mm high density foam box around the spring unit. Guardian 300KG bariatric mattress has high density foam block supporting 50mm latex no spring unit.

I see that BedGuard mattresses are double sided what are the rotation guidelines?

Rotation of the mattress will extend its life. This must be performed every 2 weeks for the first 3 months and monthly thereafter. Performed turning end to end as well as rotated top to bottom.

Is the mattress I'm buying Australian Made?

Yes all BedGuard mattresses are 100% Australian made, proud participant of the Australian Made campaign. BedGuard mattresses fabric is milled in Dandenong, spring units manufactured in Dandenong South, Quilting knitted in Campbellfield.
